COST Action CA23123: “Non-chemical Weed Management in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs)”

The 1st in-person Core Group Meeting of COST Action CA23123 took place on 2–3 October 2025 at the Research Institute for Organic Farming (FiBL) in Frick, Switzerland.

During the two-day meeting, the team:

• Reviewed progress from the first project year
• Planned activities and outputs for year two
• Discussed publications, communication strategies, and collaboration with COST Action CA22109 “MedPlants4Vet”
• Visited an organic herb producer and the Ricola Showgarden

The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange on sustainable, non-chemical weed management in medicinal and aromatic plants.
